When she meets Carden again, she must now face her complicated feelings. Jude now returns back to the land of the fae and now needs to figure out her next steps. She creates a life for herself until someone shows up to give her a way around her exile. Now that Jude has been exiled to the mortal world, she longs to return to fairyland, but is at a loss for how it will be possible. The reader continues following along with Jude and the lovely narration of Caitlin Kelly in the audiobook version. I am very thankful that I read this right after finishing the major cliffhanger at the end of book two, as I cannot imagine living in limbo and not immediately knowing what will happen next. As this is the end of the series, it is best to read The Cruel Prince (#1) and The Wicked King (#2) before reading this one as it is a continuous story and should not be read as a standalone. I cannot believe the trilogy is over! The Queen of Nothing provides a satisfying conclusion to The Folk of the Air trilogy.
